Check Your Calendars!

We are now in the thick of the final countdown until Election Day on November 7, 2017.This means it is time to take a few minutes and check your calendars! If you will not be able to vote in person on November 7th, you still have time to request an absentee ballot.

According to

  • Deadline to register to vote, or update an existing registration, for the November 7, 2017 General Election is Monday, October 16, 2017

  • Deadline to request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you is 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2017. Your request must be received by your Registrar by 5:00 p.m.

  • Deadline to request an absentee ballot by appearing in-person is 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017

You can apply online for an absentee ballot by clicking here. You can also vote absentee in-person within 45 days prior to the election, but you will still need to either bring a completed absentee ballot application with you or fill one out when you arrive.

We know this can be a busy time of year. Election Day really will be here before you know it, so please take just a few minutes to make sure you have made all the arrangements necessary to vote! This election is important for the Commonwealth, for our children, and our future.
