NAACP 2017 Virginia Gubernatorial Forum

Middle Resolution will be co-hosting the NAACP 2017 Virginia Gubernatorial Forum featuring the two Gubernatorial candidates, Ed Gillespie and Ralph Northam.

This forum will be on Sept. 7 at Coburn Hall at Virginia Union University. It is a free event and there is general admission at the door. Doors will be opened at 6pm. Please join us to support our candidate, Ed Gillespie.

In 2014, Matt Schlapp was unanimously elected as Chairman of the American Conservative Union (ACU), the nation’s original conservative grassroots organization which hosts the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

Mr. Schlapp served as White House Political Director and Deputy Assistant to President George W. Bush. Prior to working at the White House, Matt worked on Capitol Hill as a press secretary, chief of staff and campaign manager to Representative Todd Tiahrt (R-KS). He also appears regularly in broadcast and print media, including FOX News, MSNBC, CNN, C-SPAN, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, Politico, Breitbart and the Daily Caller. Schlapp is a columnist for The Hill newspaper and a co-host of CPAC 365, a weekly radio show on Sirius XM radio.

Convention of States Virginia Rock the Republic Rally

Rally for the Republic!

 

When Thursday, January 28, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. 

Where:  Richmond State Capitol Square, Bell Tower, 1000 Bank St., Richmond, VA 23219. 

 

Let’s Rally together and urge Virginia’s Delegates and Senators to vote "YES" and call for a Convention of States to rein in the federal government.

 

Speakers

·        Michael Farris, National Director of the Convention of States Project.

·        U.S. Senator Tom Coburn.

·        Sponsors of our resolution (HJR 3) from Virginia’s House and Senate.

Details

·         Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the Rally’s 10:00 a.m. start time.

·         The Rally will last 40-45 minutes.

·         Rain or shine.  It’s January and the Rally is outdoors — dress accordingly!

·         Bring a light-weight collapsible chair if you desire seating during the Rally.

·         No food or beverages, please!

After the Rally, we will break into small groups and visit Legislator offices in the General Assembly Building.  We will give you all the information you need.

 

After that, the day is yours.   Capitol tours are free and worth the time (Also, check out the Visitor’s Guide to the Capitol).

 

Can’t attend the Rally?  You can still participate!   On Rally Day, call and email your Delegate and Senator.  Ask them to vote “YES” for the Convention of States resolution HJR 3.
