The Middle Resolution PAC has endorsed Glenn Youngkin for Governor, Winsome Sears for Lieutenant Governor and Jason Miyares for Attorney General. Leading up to the convention on May 8, we will be highlighting the candidates and providing some insight into why they decided to run for office and how they plan to lead the Commonwealth if elected in November.
We’ll start with Glenn Youngkin, Virginia native and former CEO of the Carlyle group, a global private equity firm managing $246B in assets. Glenn will share with you his stepping down from Carlyle to run for Governor, his personal history and the encouragement and support he’s received from Virginians as he’s traversed the state on the campaign trail. Here’s Glenn in his own words:
Glenn’s success as the leader of a major company was a strong factor in our decision to endorse him. Having led a company that is significantly larger than Virginia’s state government, we have no doubt that he is more than capable of handling Virginia with the same skills that he applied at Carlyle. His business acumen, his leadership style and his financial background make him an outstanding candidate for Governor. More to come on Glenn Youngkin-stay tuned!
